looking for Henshaw Carp'n advice.

Has anyone been carp'n there? I printed a map, but have no real understanding of where to fish, or best means of getting to said areas. Do I need a boat? Can I walk. Where should I park. I really appreciate any help. PM please if you don't wanna tell the world. I plan on carp'n there this Friday.

I have not in a while but be forewarned that wading can also mean mud that sinks. I once considered trying snowshoes or tying tennis rackets to my feet (joking - sort of) to avoid sinking while stalking carp int he flats. Last time I went, I wasn't feeling well and relaxed at the docks waiting for cruisers and actually hooked up. The previous year, for the Carp Throwdown, I know that Dave Wratchford pre-fished it. That said, the fish there cruise all over and are crazy plentiful so it may not take you too long to locate them. A boat helps. On another note, the area has crazy wildlife. I saw a golden eagle and also heard someone's dog get killed by local coyotes. I know that's sort of random data. Anyway - Hope this helps. Would love to know how you do.
