I'll be interested to see how this unveils, if in fact, they do close fishing on effected watersheds. I think it's a good thing, but how effective will the notification be.
The lower section of my home river has been closed for over a year. No official closure, but when it's DRY, as in no water whatsoever, it would make sense it's closed to fishing. I don't believe I've ever seen it dry up, in 57 years of living close to it.
