Yeah, maybe I should have only put two options up YES and NO and people could have explained why they voted for either one.

IMNSHO, I would not have started this thread until late summer, when the impacts of low rain fall on local fish will actually be happening. Right now, with only a few exceptions, water temps and levels are fine for trout. Unfortunately, if you cry wolf too many times, people will not take it seriously, and when it does become serious, people may just tune the message out if they hear it too many times. And that would not be good because the message is a good one.

For those of you who want an inexpensive way to check the temps: I use a REI zipper thermometer. I have it ringed to my emergency whistle and detach it from my bag to check the temps. Dunk for a minute or so in a calm pool...
