We will have four booths crammed with rods, reels, lines, assorted gear, boots, clothes and stuff for the upcoming season at the Pasadena Fly Fishing Show this weekend. The Pasadena Center is located at 300 East Green Street.
Show hours are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Sat.; and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sun.
In addition to our display, there will be wall-to-wall booths ranging from manufacturers, fishing destinations, lodges and guides services from around the world. Our good friend, Hardy representative John Shaner, will clean and lubricate any Hardy reel brought to him, give owners the basic history of the reel and provide a free bottle of lubricant. Be sure to bring your old Hardys in for a tune-up.
The SouthWest Council Federation of Fly Fishers will offer a number of free information services on their ongoing conservation work. You can also get acquainted with one of our local clubs.
There will be virtually non-stop Destination Theater presentations, casting and tying demonstrations a fly tier’s aisle and author’s booth.
Door prizes include trips for two to Pesca Maya, in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula; 4-Rivers Fishing Company, Mont.; Picacho Lodge, Chilean Patagonia; and Restigouche River Lodge, New Brunswick, Canada; fishing tackle, and a Nor-Vise and Automatic Bobbin System.
Ken, Steve and the Spot Gang looks forward to seeing you at the Pasadena Fly Fishing Show.
