I was just thinking of doing the same thing, little brother !!

Off the cuff, one of my family members sent me a dozen of the Hippie Chicks that he ties professionally for a couple of Montana shops. I had no idea he tied until the subject came up via email with cousin #1 who forwarded it to cousin #2, and ... you get the picture. Long story short, I got six olive and six yellow, all size 12 (love it) and tied beautifully. They're not loaded with glue (like mine) and they float like corks (unlike mine). Can't wait to throw them, but I'm afraid to for fear of losing them. You guys would laugh out loud at my "Meat Box."

Hey Mike, what is a Hippie Chick (I gather that it's a Stimi of some type) and what is it supposed to imitate? I have a trip (business unfortunately) to Missoula the end of this month and hope to get in one day on the local creek. Thanks. Tom.

Hippie chicks are so named because they are loud, leggy, and lots of bush. (or something like that... the lots of bush is the key in the name!)

OH, and size 12 huh? Someone should have told me, cause those pictured are all 10s and 8s.
