Favorite Streamers

Hey guys,
What are your favorite streamer patterns for trout? Colors? Sizes? I'm tired of tying clousers :)

Bugger's in black, olive, or purple with tinsel or mylar off the back. The Crowley trout seem to like that.

It's hard to beat a clouser (go ahead tie up some more, you can never have enough) but I also like a black crystal bugger (I especially like the one's with some green highlights in the black chenille).

Midger sent me a Circus Peanut while in New Zealand. Super awesome fly for so many streams.

Bow River Bugger. Tan has been very productive. I also like it in brown, or a rusty brown, but I tie it in the usual(black brown, olive)wooly bugger colors.

Thanks guys, as far as clousers go, what color combos do you guys use for trout? I have the chartreuse over white and grey over white for salty stuff but am not totally sure what colors work for trout as well as sizes.

Anyone have good step by step instructions for a circus peanut? Articulated flies seem cool!

I used Galloup's dvd when I tied my first ones. It can be checked out from netflix if you subscribe, and there are 4 other streamer patterns that are shown step by step in the video.

I have to go with the meat whistle on this one as well. I love the jig hook setup, especially in water with a lot of hang up potential. Not to mention it's a really quick tie.

Lol, thanks John. You made me double check that I didn't have a typo in my title.

Chris, yeah those were some sweet lookin flies. Also a fun name to throw around in camp. I have yet to track down those jig hooks, seems no one on the other side pours their own lead heads anymore, all those 90 degree hooks I've seen already have some kind of jig head on them.
