Newbee Intro 2

Postby zachsmith » June 17th, 2010, 5:28 pm

Hey Everyone,

My name is Zach. I am new to the whole forum thing. I am excited to start networking with a group of like minded fly fishing fanatics. Thanks for letting me be a part of the group. I enjoy all aspects of fly fishing, my favorite being small stream fishing. I live in fresno, and teach out in Sanger. I am currently on my first week of my summer vacation, trying to get as much fishing in as possible with out driving my wife crazy.

Thanks for the welcome, and I hope to be able to learn as much as possible from you all and maybe even get some fishing buddies, as my former brother in arms, is now in dental school full time at USC> in LA (fly fisherman's * basically). Thanks again guys and gals.

Welcome to the board, Zach, from a fellow Fresnan. :)
How do you tie the fly to your hooks without killing them with the thread? I keep cutting them in half.

Welcome to this brave new world... and you thought you were along. There a few others from your area on this forum! Glad you could make it. Don't fall for those intervention groups, this addiction is better than the cure.

Welcome aboard. Hope to see you on the Lower Kings this Fall/Winter - that's usually the only time I get to wet a line up Fresno way.
